2026 Guest Speakers at BYU Aspen Grove

Thank you for your interest in being a guest speaker at BYU Aspen Grove! Over 30 guest speakers will be selected for our upcoming 2026 events. Please read all information below before submitting an application.

Family Camp and Getaways at BYU Aspen Grove are considered all-inclusive vacations with lodging, meals, programs, and activities. Our goal is to provide professional, uplifting, and engaging presentations at all of our events. This includes providing full- and mini-week, Sunday evening fireside, and Getaway Speakers throughout the year. We request that all guest speakers agree to collaborate with BYU Aspen Grove by promoting their presentations on social media. If you are selected as a speaker and are willing to do so, details will be provided.

Topics

As you consider your topic, please keep in mind that not everyone in the audience may be an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Your presentation should not be controversial. In the speaker application, you need to provide a title and a description for each of your presentations. Titles need to be less than nine words and should sound engaging. Sunday Fireside topics need to be spiritual and inclusive to all. Presentations given during the week are not required to be spiritual, but they may be. Remember, guests are on vacation, and listening to a sermon on which way the pearly gates swing may not be an enticing subject to everyone. Because of this, we recruit our speakers among authors, professors, and a wide range of working professionals. Our selections committee will review the titles and descriptions you provide. Changing your titles and/or topics after you are selected requires permission and re-approval.

Full-week Family Camp guest speaker

If you are selected as a full-week guest speaker, you will need to prepare four different presentations. Each presentation should be approximately 1 hour in length. Your time at BYU Aspen Grove will straddle between two weeks of guests. Each presentation needs to be given two times, with one (selected by you) being presented a third time to a youth audience. In trade for these nine presentations, you will receive:

  • ($3,700 value based on the value of 2 adult guests and the rental of the Sunrise Cabin at BYU Aspen Grove).
  • Complimentary stay for you and one (1) guest in the Sunrise Cabin at BYU Aspen Grove. Click here for a tour of the Sunrise Cabin at BYU Aspen Grove.
  • Option to register and pay to bring additional guests (usually your immediate household family members).
  • Two BYU Aspen Grove t-shirts (based on availability) or 2 souvenirs of similar value.
  • Full participation in all camp meals, programs, activities, and facilities for you, your plus-one guest, and any additional registered and paid-for guests.
Mini-week Family Camp guest speaker

If you are selected as a mini-week guest speaker, you will need to prepare four different presentations. Each presentation should be approximately 1 hour in length. In trade for these four presentations, you will receive:

  • ($2,150 value based on the value of 2 adult guests and the rental of the Sunrise Cabin at BYU Aspen Grove).
  • Complimentary stay for you and one (1) guest in the Sunrise Cabin at BYU Aspen Grove. Click here for a tour of the Sunrise Cabin at BYU Aspen Grove
  • Option to register and pay to bring additional guests (usually your immediate household family members).
  • Two BYU Aspen Grove t-shirts (based on availability) or 2 souvenirs of similar value.

Sunday Evening Fireside guest speaker

If you are selected as a fireside guest speaker, you will need to prepare a presentation approximately 50 minutes in length.

The above compensations/trade-for-speaking amounts are subject to change before the final contract is sent to the speaker. We will do our best to inform you if significant changes occur.
